Energy Measures
Energy Measures was established in April 2009 with the aim of providing a source of information concerning renewable energy methods which can be incorporated within the home.
The primary goal of this site is to increase visitors awareness and understanding of sustainable, and environmetally friendly measures they can adopt and or implement to improve their homes efficiency, reducing reliance on decentralised energy providers and increase the use of localised energy production.
Through understanding of these issues, will facilitate the importance of reducing our carbon footprint as consumers; as by taking actions and measures now may we be in a position to combat the ever increasing threats to our environment, particularly Global Warming and Oil Dependency.
Energy-Measures does not intend to be comprehensive in terms of measures which can be deployed, it merely aims to provide information on specific elements to improve a home's environmental credentials, chosen based on their scope for widespread use and current popularity within the market.
